belbin's team roles...

So what team roles best describes you? On Wednesday, we took part in a test to determine what type role describes us the most...after allocating a maximum of 10 marks to a choice of eight statements within seven sections, I discovered that I'm a "Implementer" and "Team worker".

Implementer - Disciplined, reliable, conservative and efficient. Turns ideas into practical actions.
Team worker - Social, mild, perceptive and accommodating. Listens, builds, averts friction.

I would agree with this analysis, as I feel I tend to hang back within group meetings to assess the situation before contributing. However, I was a bit concerned that I scored a zero for the "Plant" team role, as this role denotes creativity, imagination and solving problems. I do realise though that the results of the test can change on a day to day basis - I must be a creative person, I would not be doing this masters if I was not!
